The official digital programme
Calgary's finest magicians gather to mark one hundred years since Harry Houdini's death—with sleight of hand, illusion and impossible escapes staged in his honour.
The legacy
One hundred years ago, Harry Houdini took his final bow. Tonight, Calgary's magical community gathers in the spirit of the master escapologist—not to recreate the past, but to test the same boundary he pursued all his life: the thin line between wonder and disbelief.
Houdini died on Hallowe'en, 1926. Some anniversaries are marked with a minute's silence. This one is marked by holding your breath.
